On Sunday, December 16, the holiday season, snowy weather, and Joe Hill Coffee House all join up to bring you a show to make your heart glad. Come and hear these fine performers (and eat goodies, and hang out in a nice place):
Rossland Glee Choir – Voices raised in harmony. Sweet!
Shelley Ackerman – Showcasing her new works. Our founder, Michael G., sings harmony on her final song.
The KnissKornBowles Jazz Ensemble. Three experienced Beaver Valley musicians reach into new territory – and a Christmas song or two.
Kiana Tingley – Returning to Rossland for us – a special visitor!
Mr. Gabriella – Come and find out!
Roelof Helberg – A Joe Hill debut by way of South Africa (and symphony performances, and bass in a jazz band). Sounds from classical to soul and jazz, with an acoustic slant, like singing around a campfire. A Christmas song, too!
We’re in the Rossland Legion, 2081 Washington Street.
It’s a family-friendly venue – lots of goodies and happiness, no bar.
Admission is a mere $3 – kept affordable by our all-volunteer crew, and the generosity of the Rossland Legion. Thanks to all! (Proceeds from Joe Hill Coffee House help support the Rossland Council for Arts and Culture; proceeds from sale of goodies help support the Gold Fever Follies.)
Doors open at 6:30 PM; the show starts at 7:00. See you there!
Joe Hill Coffee House is always looking for new performers – young and old, beginners or polished. All welcome; no auditions. It’s where you can relax and perform for the best audience anywhere. For more information contact Les Carter at firstname.lastname@example.org, 250-362-5677. Thanks!
