Snow is falling — what better time to get silly?! Join Bushel & Peck Saturday, January 19th, at The Miners’ Hall for a theatrical workshop focused on Clown, bushel_and_peck_rosslandPhysical Comedy, and Improvisation. You’ll learn how to master things like character creation, embodying emotions, and honouring those all-too-familiar winter impulses.

This workshop will help you overcome fears associated with performing, encourage you to explore the ridiculous, and learn strategies to connect with an audience. Learn how to converse with that inner critic. Build self-awareness, promote honesty and vulnerability, and celebrate creative play in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Bushel & Peck will be performing at the Charles Bailey Theatre the day prior to the workshop, giving participants insight into the mechanics of professional theatre.

The Rossland Council for Arts & Culture invites you to embrace your inner ridiculous self and participate in this 3 hour workshop! This workshop is open to youth ages 7-adult.

Workshop is limited to 30 spots.

Date: Saturday January 19, 2019
Time: 10am to 1pm
Location: Rossland Miners’ Hall
Registration: The cost for this 3-hour workshop is just $20.
