CamCamp is right around the corner!
Register today and get ready for another great CamCamp with Tristan Martin at Red Mountain! This year CamCamp is two days – March 20 & 21.
Bring your ski gear, fav tricks, positive attitude, and POV camera (don’t worry – Tristan’s got you covered if you don’t have one!) to learn how to sequence and film while riding at your favourite hill! With a keen eye for safety and fun, Tristan will lead you through a great day of filming!
Open to youth 9 to 16 who ski or snowboard at an intermediate to expert level and want to get the most out of their POV cameras, as well as learn how filming can help them progress AND self-promote.
The underlying goal behind the CamCamp is to share a passion for skiing and filming. Participants will learn how to incorporate film into their riding in a fun and productive way. Safety comes first: Only going for it when conditions allow; if it’s icy or even a little hard, taker ’er easy and only do tricks you KNOW you can land first, then build on your tricks once you’ve landed them.
- Point of view film gear (if any participants wish, they are welcome to use their own)
- Participants will have access to all footage from the camp
- Tristan creates an edited piece from each camp
What participants will need:
- Season or day pass
- Ski or snowboard gear
- Lunch or money for lunch at the lodge
There is a maximum of ten (10) spaces so register today!
