SUMMARY:All the Madmen - Stick&Bow
DESCRIPTION:It is under the spell of the vibrant city of Montreal that the duo Stick&Bow was born\, the result of the meeting between two passionate\, energetic and complementary young musicians. Awarded by the prestigious Opus 2024 Awards as Artists of the Year and for their Influence abroad\, Stick&Bow seduces with its captivating stage presence\, its authentic connection with the audience\, its careful scenographies and its daring and eclectic repertoire. \nComing from a solid classical training at the CNSMD in Lyon and McGill University\, the Canadian Krystina Marcoux and the Argentinian Juan Sebastian Delgado combine their talents to embrace a wide range of musical styles. Through original arrangements\, their concerts revisit some of the most iconic works in history\, transformed by the stunning combination of marimba and cello. \nCommitted to today’s music\, Stick&Bow constantly enriches the repertoire of their atypical training by commissioning works from contemporary composers such as Luis Naon\, Camille Pépin\, Luna Pearl Woolf\, Jason Noble\, Anna Pidgorna and Marcelo Nisinman. In 2020\, they conducted a film-concert around the music of Luis Nadon\, in collaboration with the Paramirabo ensemble. To celebrate their fifth anniversary in 2023\, they created Cinco!\, a show entirely dedicated to new music with 10 creations commissioned for the occasion\, in partnership with Le Vivier. \nAt the Rossland Miners Hall\, Stick&Bow will be presenting All the Madmen\, a powerful exploration of artistic defiance and resilience. In this political performance\, the duo reveals the untold stories of musical geniuses whose sanity was questioned for daring to dream of a better world. From Beethoven to Bowie\, Lennon to Simone\, Parra to Puebla\, classical\, popular\, and folk music unite in a defiant celebration of creativity and resistance. Stick&Bow’s storytelling prowess leads the way in this unforgettable performance. \nCatch All the Madmen on Saturday\, November 14th\, 2026 in the Main Performance Hall at the Rossland Miners Hall! \nDiscounted Early Bird tickets for this show are on sale from May 29th\, 2026 until June 30th\, 2026 on our website for only $30 each! Regular tickets will go on sale in August. \nThis performance is part of the Rossland Council for Arts and Culture’s Performance Series 2026/2027. The 5-show Series Pass is available for $140. \nLearn more about Stick&Bow here: \nStick & Bow \nSee Stick&Bow in action here: \nStick&Bow | Hasta Siempre – Para que nunca olvidemos la fuerza de la música
