Youth 10+ are invited to participate in a drum-making workshop.
This hands-on workshop is an opportunity to learn about Indigenous drum-making and traditional teachings from Ann-Marie Smith (Ojibway), who has been facilitating workshops on Indigenous culture and crafts for over 10 years.
Participants will create a beautiful deer-hide drum and decorated drum stick. In Indigenous culture, the drum represents the heartbeat of Mother Earth and is used in spiritual and ceremonial practices.
All drum-making materials are provided.
We have limited space so register today!
