Louise Drescher

I am a painter who has lived in Rossland since 1994. As a Board member of the RCAC I developed and coordinated 2 co-operative Rossland art galleries: Firehall Gallery 2005-2007 and Rouge Gallery 2008-2012. Currently I paint in my home studio in Rossland and exhibit my work in regional galleries and local shows. It is the greatest gift to me when someone looks at my finished work and tells me they love it. We all live to communicate.

Mythopoeic Productions - Interactive Art Installations

Mythopoeic Productions is a grass-roots artist collective producing interactive art installations. These installations give professional and emerging artists an opportunity to show off what they do and they're created to bring the community together - from the guerrilla human petting zoo on the main drag of Rossland to the dramatic, paper mâché war between pirates and hippies on top of KC mountain we inspire each other to be creative in our own right.

Kaileah Marin

Kaileah Marin (Wert), was born and raised in the Kootenay-Boundary region, in the vibrant city of Rossland, spending the majority of her time frolicking and exploring the natural wonders of the world or channeling the inspiration of those experiences into any form of creativity that would allow it. Having realized the wealth and abundance of inspiration from the natural world as much as the forged one, she would eventually travel and live all across Canada, and travel the western United States, where she fell in love with the San Fransisco Bay Area. She now spends her time between her studio in the diverse and creative city of Berkeley/East Bay area and the Kootenays. Part of a 35+ person art collective she enjoys and thrives being around creative communities, and sharing the valuable experiences of her own and other individuals to shape and inspire her artwork.
