With a Name Like Nutt, it has to be Funny!

The Rossland Council for Arts and Culture (RCAC) welcomes comedian Tim Nutt on Saturday, November 5. This will be the second performance in the RCAC 2016/17 Comedy Series.

Tim Nutt is a comic who can’t be judged by his cover. Long-haired, bearded, and “rough around the edges”, audiences expect Nutt’s material to match. But he surprises with razored-down punchlines and well conjured-up premises that place him as one of the top comics working today.

“The RCAC love bringing live performances to town, especially comedy,” says Kimberley Pegg, RCAC Board member. “We are very thankful to the BC Touring Council who provide funding which helps rural towns access high quality performers, such as Tim Nutt”.

According to cbc.ca, “Tim Nutt can turn the most mundane things in life into hilarious comedy”. At one of his appearances at the Just for Laughs Gala, Nutt was so impressive that he was named one of the “Best of the Fest” and reviewers asked “where have they been hiding this guy?” The answer – in comedy clubs across North America where Tim has established himself as a top-draw for the past 18 years.

On November 5, Nutt brings his intelligent, sophisticated brand of humour to the Prestige Mountain Resort in Rossland. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Out of the Cellar in Rossland, the Charles Bailey Theatre Box Office in Trail, and online at rosslandartscouncil.com/Performance-Series.

Don’t miss your chance to see one of Canada’s top comics!
