The RCAC and the Rossland Arts Centre Society are thrilled to partner with the Rossland Pottery Society for a special Holiday Clay Ornament Workshop, part of our Art in the Attic workshop series.
This hands-on creative session is open to all ages (participants 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult). Whether you’re making a keepsake for yourself or crafting a heartfelt gift for someone special, this workshop is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Each participant will receive 1.5 lbs of clay to roll, cut, shape, and decorate. The Rossland Pottery Society will take care of firing all the ornaments after the workshop—your finished pieces will be ready in time for the holidays!
We’re offering two workshop times so you can easily join us during the festive Rekindle weekend.
Please note that this workshop takes place in the Lily May Room on the upper floor of the Miners Hall, which is only accessible by stairs. We recognize that this limits participation and may prevent some community members from attending. The RCAC and the Rossland Arts Centre Society sincerely apologize for this barrier and are committed to increasing the accessibility of our programming wherever possible.
If you would like to participate in future pottery workshops or similar activities in an accessible location, please feel welcome to reach out—we value your feedback and want to ensure our programs are available to all.
