We Thrive on Your Caring Support

The Rossland Council for Arts and Culture sources the majority of its funding from Provincial, Regional and Municipal sources. The RCAC would like to thank our current funding partners for their support.

Every year the RCAC identifies grants which we are eligible to apply for that can be used to fund our programs. The amount of money these funding partners have to distribute each year is limited and there is often competition for these funds from other non-profit societies.

Over the years the RCAC has developed skills in grant writing, and learned how to strengthen our applications to improve the probability of being awarded funds. One of the ways we do this is by showing that a portion of the budgeted program revenues comes from non-provincial, regional or municipal sources. The RCAC also uses the earned and contributed revenues we generate to help fund our programs. These are seen by our funding partners as a measure of the success of our programming, and the level of support the RCAC receives from our community.

Contributed revenues are raised from local businesses and corporations who show their support for Arts and Culture in Rossland by sponsoring RCAC programs and events. Earned revenues are generated from ticket sales, workshop fees and membership dues.

The RCAC recognizes the importance of finding new ways to raise new sponsorship revenues, and at the same time look for opportunities to acknowledge sponsor’s support. With this in mind the RCAC launched a new and simplified sponsorship and recognition framework in Spring 2022.

Business sponsors are recognized on our website, in our monthly Newsletter, and in our downtown Kiosk. Sponsors also receive a RCAC Sponsor decal to display in the window of their business. If you are a local business and want to support the Arts in Rossland, by sponsoring the RCAC, please contact us at rosslandarts@gmail.com
