The Fretless are a Juno Award winning Canadian folk music group, Trent Freeman, Karrnnel Sawitsky and Ben Plotnick, and Eric Wright, based in Toronto, Ontario transforms fiddle tunes and folk melodies into intricate, beautiful, high-energy arrangements within what appears to be a simple and classical construct — two fiddles, a viola, and a cello — creating a sound that is distinctly rich, multi-layered, and uniquely percussive, producing a completely fresh approach to Folk music.
