Rossland, BC – April 15, 2024 – The Rossland Council for Arts and Culture (RCAC) is thrilled to present the highly anticipated Art of Adornment Fashion Show of Ensembles and Exhibition of Accessories on May 11, 2024. This exclusive event celebrates the intersection of art and fashion, showcasing breathtaking wearable art creations by talented artists from the West Kootenays region.
The Art of Adornment Fashion Show of Ensembles will kick off at 7:30pm, featuring a dynamic runway presentation highlighting the theatrical and storytelling aspects of wearable artwork. Attendees can expect to be mesmerized by avant-garde designs and imaginative creations that transform the human body into a canvas of artistic expression.
Prior to the fashion show, from 6:00pm to 9:30pm, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Exhibition of Accessories, where a curated selection of unique wearable art pieces will be on display. This exhibit offers a closer look at the intricate details and craftsmanship behind each accessory, providing insights into the creative process of the featured artists.
