Volunteering in the Rossland Arts Community
We would love to hear from anybody interested in volunteering for the Rossland Council of Arts and Culture.
The RCAC is a non-profit organization comprised of enthusiastic locals helping to elevate Rossland to a noted Arts and Performance destination. We present high-caliber arts artists and performances that Rosslanders would ordinarily have to travel to see, with the Miners Hall as our main venue. We lease many of the sculptures that you see around downtown Rossland. We also love supporting our local artists and sculptors and informing the arts community about the grants available to them.
As a volunteer, you have several options ranging from working a single event, to sitting on a sub-committee that plans events, to helping with administration, website, design, marketing and more! If you are passionate about the arts, we would love to hear from you and about the unique expertise that you can offer. We are always looking for new people to become involved with the RCAC. Volunteering with us is a great fit for a wide range of people with a range of life experiences.
Perks include fun, laughter, awesome company and contributing to your community. Volunteering with us can also improve your skills and resume and build great relationships with the Arts community of Rossland.
Event Volunteer is our most common volunteer position, and it involves setting up, cleaning up, taking tickets, greeting, serving food and drinks, etc. In exchange for two hours of work, we offer free admission to the event.
