The Rossland Council for Arts and Culture is thrilled to announce its Winter Colouring Contest, inviting young artists between the ages of 2 and 19 to showcase their creativity and embrace the joy of colouring. The contest is open to all, whether they choose to enter the competition or simply enjoy the colouring pages.

Participants will have the opportunity to select from two enchanting winter-themed colouring pages, designed to ignite imagination and artistic expression. The colouring pages can be downloaded below or picked up from Bombshack. Participants are welcome to colour one or both pages, exploring their unique ideas and styles.

Not just a competition, this event is a celebration of creativity, encouraging everyone to join in the fun. Even if you opt not to enter the contest, we invite you to colour the pages and share your creations on social media using the hashtag #RosslandWinterColouringFun.

To enter the contest, participants should follow these simple steps:

1. Color the chosen page(s) with creativity and flair.

2. Capture a photo of the finished artwork.

3. Use the submission form below to upload the artwork.

The deadline for submissions is January 3, giving participants ample time to immerse themselves in the winter wonderland of colours. Winners will be selected in various age categories and will receive exciting prizes.

“We believe that art has the power to bring joy and inspiration, especially during the winter season. Our Winter Colouring Contest is a fantastic way for young artists to express themselves and share their talent with the community,” said Meghan Hall.

The RCAC extends heartfelt gratitude to Bombshack and the Province of BC whose support makes this event possible.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage in a heartwarming celebration of creativity. Join the RCAC in spreading the joy of art this winter!
